NYFW #1



So far, New York Fashion Week is made up of extremes. We’re seeing feminine, flirty, brilliant color on one hand. Dark, edgy, and harsh on the other hand. I have yet to see any textures that you would expect to see for Fall. There hasn’t been a lot of tweed, or earthy textures. I’m waiting to see the Diane Von Furstenberg show, she usually gives us some version of what we’re comfortable with. What do you think so far? Are you for the edgy, or the flirty?

  • I tend to be more into the edgy, esp. for Fall and Winter. I prefer to wear bright clothes in summer (though I also like to "break" dark fall/winter clothes with a bright accessory sometimes).

    I have to say though, I absolutely love that turquoise/teal ensamble up there in the middle. Whose it is? It's lovely.
  • I think I'm for both, depending on my mood! I'm really drawn to both flirty and edgy so I've loved seeing these on the runway.
