in trenches

Spring is here, and you know what that means – RAIN. It’s no longer cold enough to wear your overcoat, but not warm enough to go without anything. You know what you need? A trench coat, of course! A classic trench will be around forever. It works well with jeans, a dress, a skirt, and trousers. You can wear it to work, around town, and out to dinner. It’s a very versatile piece, and considered a basic. Even though it’s a great item to splurge on, we know not many people can spend a ton of money on a trench right now. Check out our Splurge or Steal options.

Splurge

A Burberry trench coat is the ultimate! Pair your Burberry with Aquatalia rain boots, a Burberry umbrella, and a new Marc Jacobs bag - Pure Luxury.

    • Lovely rainy day ensambles :-)
I've been wanting to buy a trench coat, but I think that as a plus-size woman, I should probably avoid double-breasted anything. Thoughts?
    • Single breasted will work great. A good length would be to just above the knee or just below the butt. :)
    • Thank you Jean!
